Oh, sometimes I hate blogger...now, unless I am in Picassa, which limits my use of its space, I cannot put a photo on my blog.
What is wrong with me? For some reason, I have so many problems with blogging.
Anyway, we are well and happy in Florida, am shopping online and in the shops around me.
If anyone knows how to get my photos online without using Picassa, let me know.
Living here for the winter, life becomes one social event after an other. There has been a big turkey pot luck dinner featuring the aforementioned bird, lots of veggie dishes and some amazing lemon squares. I think we should be making a cook book what with the foodies talking about their favs.
The Elvis birthday party was a bit over the top, but a fun way for people to get together as an excuse. One of the ladies here is an Elvisholic to the point that she has a life size of himself in white sequin suit. Funny!
Yesterday our friends from Whitby arrived to lots of hugs and happiness. The dogs were more crazy than the people. My wild westie finally collapsed peacefully into sleep after about 15 minutes.
Dinner of seafood is always my way of being happy. Here we get fresh of everything and the oyster bars are being rated all the time when I find a new one.

a lot of bloggers using blogger have mentioned lately trouble putting photos in their blogs, I don't use it so I'm not sure what the problem is.
I save my pictures as microsoft office and post through live writer, fell into it by accident and have had no issues...my last post I had used picasa only cause my photos`s were there.
I use live writer too. So much easier than doing it directly on the blog. I have no idea how to use picasa. I gave up that method for doing the blog a long time ago. Sorry Nanci.

I've also had problems accessing my photo's from my lap top so now I'm forced to use the html button when I want to upload photo's from my lap top,use the little pic icon to upload as normal but they appear as numbers/letters so don't be alarmed.
Just remember to add your writing under each photo before you click on "compose" your photo's will appear then.When you publish you can go back in and edit because it's hard to remember which pic is which if you upload more than one at a time lol.

Don't know exactly what the problem is, but I use blogger too and had some problems with uploading photo's a while back.
When I change the size of the picture too 800 pix. I can upload without problems, right out of my Images folder.
Hope you have use for this tip, if not, good luck anyway. Maybe contact blogger to ask???

I don't know what different techniques work with which people - but I keep my photos in a file on my computer and when I want one for the blog I go directly to the file and upload from there. I have never used Picasa for that - I've used it for other things - but not for blogger. I sometimes think each computer is different and nothing works the same for two people LOL. Hope you get the problem fixed.
Sounds like you're enjoying winter in the best possible way- by avoiding cold, eating and socialising with friends. It doesnt get any better than that.
I wouldn't take the Blogger thing personally. A lot of people seem to be experiencing glitches lately.
