Ok, I got some more photos of snow and I think that they were taken in northern Quebec. I don't know why but that's my thoughts from some of the shots.
I can't imagine this amount falling in Ontario even the north part of it, but some parts of Quebec do get humungus amounts and that's my story and I am sticking to it.
I had so many responses to the snow photos that I thought I would post a few more since I am working on a quilt and it's not ready to post as yet.
Imagine having to just throw the snow up over the snow bank and the path to the house is amazing. I do have one of the snow which blocks part of the window in the house. A later posting if possible.
So, for this Friday afternoon, with the temperatures becoming absolutely balmy, we are going into the plus temps by tomorrow and to almost 40 degrees F, and 6 celsius till Tuesday or Wednesday, I'm sure there will be flooding because we have snow everywhere.

OH MY GOD!!! can you just imagine shoveling that out - where or where do they park a car and where is the door to the house!! Talk about insulation - the house is buried. Makes one wonder why people live there. Sure must build up some arm, shoulder and back muscles shoveling - no need to go to the gym. :)

I got the same email, and it claimed the shots were taken somewhere in Saskatchewan, although the photographer definitely had a French name :) At least some of it is going to melt on the weekend!
Last winter we had like this near by where I'm living up in Norway. Have a great weekend :-)
Wow, I really need to stop complaining! All we get is chilly breezes and some (a lot) of rain.

I'm ready for more snow here in Minneapolis but we're getting some rain...we may get some snow tomorrow and Wednesday but we'll see.
I recall, from when I was 5, the winter of 1965, we had a big snow storm that resulted a situation just like this when all was said and done. We lived in and apartment block and my parents were the caretakers, thus Dad had the job of digging a tunnel, yes I said tunnel, on the front sidewalk to the front doors of the building... We have a photo of my dad standing in the tunnel, while my brother and I stood on top... memories... thanks! 8-)
We have had Canadians from Saskatoon's Auto Clearing Motor Speedway head south to enjoy the warmer weather, as well as visitors from Ontario and Quebec. Our city, Martinsville, Virginia in the United States, is forming a sister city relationship with Martensville, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
I hope to visit Canada with my husband this summer!
I've found our Canadian visitors to be some of the friendliest race fans to have ever crossed our thresholds! Please consider coming down with your husband to escape the coldest of cold days!
