IT'S FRIDAY....FAVOURITE THINGS AGAIN.

Once again, it is Friday, and time for fav things.

This sweater which I made for my darling daughter Kelly is a tweedy brown wool.  I love it and am sure she will love it too!

It's a surprise for her.  She doesn't
check the blog much in the winter
as I haven't done much here.

I am posting the close up as it is so lovely in person, as most things are.  That touch feely thing, right?

I am now also knitting my final project of the Florida season which is a sweater for Jeremy, the
guy at the Florida winter training
camp.  Tough life he has, fun in the
sun doing what he loves to do best.

This is our bedroom at the moment.  Not too shabby.  We are enjoying glorious sunshine in the low 80s which my sweetie is moaning about...It's so hot is his daily comment....or...it's gonna be a hot one!  Well what do you expect....Sunshine and more sun
shine!

Our sweet dog has acquired an ear infection!  We were at the vet's a couple of days ago and he is in full recovery mode.

Apparently, westies and some such dogs are susceptible to this because of the humid weather.  Well, he is on the mend now, with me having to pounce on him when I must do the dirty deed of cleaning the ears etc.  He is smart and hides under the bed to keep away from me.

Our days are winding down for sure.  Our food stuffs are dwindling and we will be eating out for a while it seems once we leave here till we find another abode.

OK, another ad.  I lie a bit, but have been saving them.
Free!  Yorkshire Terrier....the little bastard bites!   This was a true one!

so are you heading back to the cottage that you will be looking for another place to stay? Taking a month to get home? Have fun - yes it has been warmer than normal - there are times in the winter that even Florida has been cold - not this year though!

Beautiful sweater! I'm sure your daughter will be thrilled. Hope your puppy is feeling much better. Had to laugh, as I have a cat that I have to drag from beneath the be.

LOVE the colour and texture in that sweater. How could she not adore it ! I bet it becomes one of her favourite things.

Poor little puppy. Hope he recovers soon.

Sounds like planning for your cottage migration is in full swing. Cant wait to see pictures of your Summer.

Hi Nanci,
Kelly will love it! You are a whiz. You seem to be able to produce these treasures at a very fast pace. It would take 6 months to knit an adult sweater. You girls are blessed to have a mother/Nana who is so generous. Counting the days!
Cheers,
Helen (Your P.T.)

Lovely sweater and poor puppy, I have a schnoodle and she is prone to ear infections it gets them down when they are sick. Mine is pretty good now with the ear drops but the first time it was a nightmare.

A beautiful sweater for your daughter, Nanci. I must pick up the needles again. I'm so happy your sweet puppy is on the mend. I'd rather have my children ill, than the cat. They can tell me when things aren't quite right. Enjoy your final days in Florida. We were in Fonthill and Niagara on the Lake yesterday. 21*. Gorgeous.

Hi there; love the finished sweater especially the neckline. Hope your baby feels better soon. Suzie will be 6 months old tomorrow. She's still as funny as ever. Take care and have fun on the East Coast before heading home to cottage country.

Beautiful Sweater and your little Westie is such a cutie. We are supposed to live in the "Sunshine state" but not the last 2 years.
